Skiing & Snowboarding
305 kilometres of perfectly prepared slopes and more than 200 km of high alpine powder snow runs make the hearts of the skiers beat faster. Snow guarantee from November to April ensures that the ski holiday destination for skiers and snowboarders regularly falls on Lech Zürs.
Heliskiing
Lech Zürs is the only place in Austria that offers Heliskiing. And you can even choose between two summits: The "Mehlsack" summit is the pinnacle of choice for experienced skiers who are ready for an adventure and looking for an experience to grow. The "Schneetäli-Orgelscharte" is recommended for skiers with medium ability. The challenge awaits skiers from the moment they land: fresh powder in winter or firn in spring - every type of snow has its challenges.
Toboggan
The toboggan run from Oberlech to Lech illuminated with floodlights guarantees fun!
The spectacular route ensures an unforgettable toboggan adventure for the whole family. Bobs can be borrowed from the Bergbahn Oberlech or at different ski rentals and sports shops.
Winter hiking and Snowshoeing
Quietly the snow crunches under your feet. A small trail will show you the way you the distance you’ve covered already, but the view ahead attracts your attention: mountains, sun, snow and a scenic hiking trail that will take you through the gentle winter landscape. Whether with or without snowshoes, let yourself be inspired on numerous winter hiking trails by the wonderful snow-covered mountains and revitalize your senses.
Ice Skating
A special highlight is the natural ice skating rink in Zürs. Surprise guaranteed!
Bad weather tip: The first and only air-conditioned ice rink in Europe offers you 300 m² for skating, curling or playing ice hockey.
Cross-country Skiing
Taste the clear winter air, breath in and focus entirely on yourself - while cross-country skiing in Lech Zürs you will find time to reflect on the essentials. No matter if skating or classic - the terrain on the Arlberg is perfect and the three levels of difficulty in Lech, Zug and Zürs include something for everyone. Cross-country skiing is free and equipment can be borrowed from the “Strolz” cross-country rental in Omesberg in Lech.
